What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

some of my favorite halloween memories will always be of me and my little sister. it was the one time of year we could become anyone or anything we imagined, stepping into little worlds of our own. there was something surreal about everyone playing along, treating our costumes like they really were our identities for the night. looking back, i think those moments played a huge part in shaping my love for transformation, storytelling, and bringing the imaginary to life

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

i like to think i'd make it pretty far. goofy noise coming from a dark basement? absolutely not. creepy figure at the end of the hallway? i'll be taking the other route, thanks. i'm trusting my instincts, and refusing to become a cautionary tale over a rather questionable decision. i can be curious, but i'm stubborn enough to keep fighting and sensible enough not to make the killer's job easier. i'm not letting a horror movie plot write me out that easily

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

i'd put it toward growing my photography business, investing in better gear and making professional photography more accessible to people who might not otherwise be able to afford it. photos mean so much to me because they give us something tangible to hold onto, a person, a memory, a little piece of life we can revisit over and over, long after the moment has passed. i'd love to keep building something that allows everyone to have it

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

my little sister. our dad used to train us for the end of the world growing up, so we have some questionable survival training under our belts. she's watched me doubt myself a thousand times and still sees something in me worth believing in. she's a reminder that no matter how old we get, i'll never be too grown to need my little sister. we can figure out the end of civilization together, just like we've figured out so much, juntos para siempre
