What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

Honestly, my most memorable Halloween experience isn’t one specific night. It’s every year when the air changes, the leaves turn and everything suddenly feels a little more magical. That feeling has followed me my entire life. I love it so much that I’ve started Building A Spooky Life—documenting my journey toward one day creating a place where other people can experience that same feeling too.

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I’ve watched enough horror movies to know the rules. I’m not investigating the creepy noise, I’m not reading the suspicious Latin out loud, and absolutely nobody is splitting up. 😂 I’m stubborn, resourceful and suspicious of EVERYTHING. Would I be graceful about surviving? Absolutely not. There’d be screaming, swearing and questionable decisions—but I’d be alive for the sequel.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

I’d put it toward the dream I’m already chasing: creating my own fall/Halloween event. I’m building this dream from the ground up and documenting the whole journey through Building A Spooky Life. $13,000 wouldn’t just buy me more Halloween decorations (although I’d be VERY tempted 😂)—it would help turn something I’ve dreamed about for years into a real place where other people can make spooky memories of their own!🦇👻🖤

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

My best friend Cathy. She’s the person I’d want beside me when everything goes wrong—in a horror movie or in real life. 🧡 She’s been there through the chaos, the hard days and the ridiculous ones, and somehow we always find a way to laugh. If I’m going to be chased by a masked killer, I want my best friend beside me. And unlike every idiot in a horror movie, if Cathy trips, I’m going back for her. We’re either making it to the credits together or haunting the place together. 😂🖤🔪💪🏽🫶🏽
