Trick or Treating in the evening then returning home so Mom could read me and my sister and cousin scary stories by candle light. As we got older we’d stay up and watch scary movies, too.
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
I wouldn’t run out into the dark or upstairs with the killer. I’d run straight to the car at the first sign of trouble. And if I were caught I’m not going down without a fight.

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
My Dad, rest his soul, was my biggest hero. He and I would make it out. As for a living person, my sister. She and I are too tough as a team.
