What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

My most memorable Halloween experience was performing in a haunted house as Clementine Barnabet, the mysterious young Louisiana woman convicted in 1912 after confessing to axe murders in Louisiana and Texas--confessions historians still debate. As a born-and-raised Louisianian, portraying her let me blend local history, mystery, performance, and horror into one unforgettable experience.

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I’m making it to the credits because I pay attention. I recognize patterns, observe, listen, research, analyze, and most importantly--use common sense. I’m clever, strategic, tactical, and not volunteering to investigate that strange noise in the basement alone. While everyone else is saying, “I’ll be right back,” I’m already planning the exit route. Horror-movie rule #1: think first, run second, and never split up.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

First, I’d handle real life: pay bills and help my family. Then I’d turn some of that “unlucky” $13,000 into something lucky for families and children facing hardship or homelessness--a safe Halloween celebration with great food, fun, laughter, and swag bags. I’d want every guest to leave full, smiling, and reminded that they are seen, valued, and worthy of joy.

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

My survival squad? Idris Elba, Henry Cavill, Sam Reid, Ryan Coogler and the cast of Sinners and Jamie Lee Curtis. Idris brings calm, Henry brings strength, Sam brings supernatural experience, Ryan and the Sinners crew understand horror, and Jamie Lee Curtis has already survived one of Halloween’s most iconic killers. I’m bringing strategy; they can handle the rest. 😁
