What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

Getting lost in a pitch-black corn maze during a torrential downpour while wearing an inflatable T-Rex costume. The zipper jammed, so I had to stomp blindly through knee-deep mud guided only by distant thunder and the screams of teenagers. I emerged looking like a swamp monster, but I won first prize for "Most Authentic Chaos."

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I never investigate weird noises in the basement, I refuse to split up, and I always wear running shoes. If a masked killer bursts through a door, I am not stopping to ask questions or trip over a convenient tree branch—I am already sprinting past the credits while yelling at the supporting cast for making terrible lifestyle choices.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

would immediately throw a legendary, black-tie masquerade ball in a supposedly haunted 19th-century theater. The remaining funds would go toward an elite stockpile of emergency flashlights, garlic, silver bullets, and top-tier ghost-hunting gear just in case the party wakes up something ancient and grumpy. Good luck curses can't stop a great party!

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

My grandmother. She survived raising five kids through the 80s, runs on pure stubbornness, and possesses a terrifying glare that could disintegrate a supernatural entity in seconds. Plus, she always has hard peppermints and a fully stocked emergency kit in her purse. The killer wouldn't stand a chance once she starts critiquing their posture.
