What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

My most memorable Halloween memories are of my mom making Halloween magical with unique makeup every year. It was our family’s favorite holiday. My favorite year, I was a “geek,” inspired by the chicken-head-eating geek from The X-Files. She couldn’t recreate the puzzle-piece makeup, so she gave me a checkerboard face and did her best to transform me into the character. Most people didn’t get it, but the ones who did loved it!

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I’d survive the horror movie because you can’t kill the final girl when she’s secretly the villain. At least, that’s how I’d write it. Everyone would spend the whole movie rooting for me to survive, only to realize in the final scene they’d been rooting for the wrong person all along. Plot twist, I was never running from the killer. I was the killer.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

My daughter turned 13 this year, so winning the unlucky $13,000 would actually feel pretty lucky to me! She is my absolute world, and I’d use the money to do something truly special and unforgettable with her. Something that would give us memories to hold onto forever, just like the Halloween memories I had with my own mom. Thirteen might be unlucky for some, but I think it could be pretty magical for us. 🖤
