What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

My favorite Halloween memories aren’t one big event—they’re all the years of making it OUR holiday. Horror movies, costumes, candy, my kids growing up loving spooky season with me, and celebrating my mom’s October 24th birthday. Some families have Christmas. We have October. 🎃

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I’m an elder millennial and a mom. I’ve survived dial-up internet, Y2K, parenting, recessions and approximately 47 “once-in-a-lifetime” events. You think a masked man walking slowly behind me is taking me out? Please. I’m not investigating the basement—I’m grabbing my kids, my snacks and leaving. 😂🔪

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

First, I’d do something fun with my kids because life is too short not to make memories. Then I’d put part of it toward launching my podcast and creative projects, and use some to give back to families going through hard times. An unlucky $13,000 turning into something good feels very on-brand for me. 🎃

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

My kids, Bree and Carter. They’ve both grown into some of the strongest, funniest humans I know. Carter has wanted us to be in a horror movie together since he was little—although back then he called them “whore movies.” 😂 So obviously, this has been years in the making. Bree brings the strength, Carter brings the horror expertise, and I’m getting us all out alive. 🎃
