Dying to know what Face of Halloween is all about?
What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
My mom is a wonderful costume maker, it’s always been my favorite part, and my favorite memory was the year she made me a dragon. She got a spandex suit and sewed a homemade tail, wings, horns, and claws for me, then she stenciled on some dragon makeup, and I have never felt more beautiful in my life. When she took us around the neighborhood that night, me and my sister gave every door a hug with our candy, I was 10. I wore that costume on the regular until it busted open at the seams.
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
I’m a certified farm kid, I come with a healthy range of skills including nutritionist, engineer, naturalist, horse whisperer, mechanic, rodeo star, and ass whopper. Not only could I hunker down and bare my teeth if need be, but I never would need to, I’m a scampy lil sneak. I will always choose to run and hide and I’m damn good at it, I’m a real hide-and-go-seek in the dark champion. If I was an animal, no doubt I would be a fox or an owl. Quiet, smart, fast, fearful, and sometimes bitey.
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
I’m gonna be starting college this spring semester and so I definitely want to save some of it to get me by while I start off. Then next year, when I move to Colorado, it will help take some of the pressure off for me and my newly-wed brother who lives down there. Some will have to go to car insurance (sorry mom). With that being said, I still want to take a portion of the money and try to host a big, spooky party for all my Omaha pals, piggybacking off of our beautiful hardcore scene of course.
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
My survival partner would have to be my fav oldest brother Jack. He is 27, freshly married, and starting his career (really wants to live). He is an engineer and a DnD dungeon master so his inner Geek will guide me through any horror/fantasy scenarios logically. My brother was also a Boy Scout, which doesn’t mean much but does mean he always has a pocket knife. At the end of the day, he is smart, strong, funny, and 6’7. I could always survive by eating him with the pocket knife.
