I AM Halloween! Wild, fearless & a little crazy. Candy & ghost hunting are my kind of fun. If it’s creepy, I’m in. If it moves I’m out!
Help your favorite Halloween fanatic appear in Rue Morgue Magazine, take home $13,000, and join Kane Hodder for a ghost hunt.
Dying to know what Face of Halloween is all about?
What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
I was walking through a haunted house when I saw a scarecrow tied to a tree. Thinking it was a decoration, I reached out to touch it. Suddenly, it opened its eyes and screamed, “BOO!” I jumped backward, broke a fence, and took four people down with me. Then I ran screaming, causing everyone behind me to run too. The scarecrow was actually an employee. I went there to be scared, but somehow I became the attraction. The real monster was me!
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
I’m SMART, alert, and deeply committed to staying alive. The minute I see a creepy basement, hear a whisper coming from an empty hallway, or somebody says, “Let’s split up,” I’m headed for the exit like the devil just called my name I’m not going downstairs, opening the attic, or asking, “Who’s there?” when the answer is clearly BAD NEWS. I don’t play hero, go back for phones, ignore red flags, or trip dramatically in the driveway. I’m wearing sensible shoes, keeping keys in my hand, and im out
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
Pay off bills before bad luck has time to find my address, and set some aside for emergency funding. Because you never know when you might need it. It keeps a single mother from stressing so much about the what-ifs.
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
If I were in a horror movie, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson would survive with me—and turn the haunted house into a motivational seminar. He’d handle monsters, explosions, possessed furniture, and any villain dumb enough to challenge a man who could suplex a werewolf. I’d spot red flags, decode clues, and ban “Let’s split up.” Together, we’d dodge cursed objects, creepy dolls, and suspicious shortcuts, defeat evil, rescue the forgotten cat, and leave by sunrise—just as the monster updated its résumé.
