Derrick Pena

Halloween is all year for me. The horror never ends when October is over, but rather branches out even when it’s Christmas time.

What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

When I was about 5 I was Casper and went with my dad trick or treating in the neighborhood he grew up in and remember seeing older kids as scary monsters, even though I was scared I knew it was for the love of Halloween.

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I would make it to the end of a horror movie by using strategy to find the best way of survival. Thinking about consequences in my actions to determine the outcome of staying alive. This would also include traps, baiting and sacrifice.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

Get my drivers license back and buy a car so I can take my son to school.

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

Mark Ruffalo, because he’s using his platform to speak up against the evil that’s happening in Gaza. When a lot of other celebrities are staying silent about this issue, Mark is not and is speaking loudly, that’s a real hero.
