What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

The best Halloweens never happened on a suburban sidewalk with a plastic pumpkin. They happened out past the treeline where the old railroad beds cross the creek, walking barefoot through freezing mud in the dead of night when the fog rolls in thick enough to choke. No cheap plastic masks or porch lights—just the real dark, the smell of rotting leaves, and the absolute quiet of a world that forgot you were even there.

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I’d make it to the end because I don't panic when the lights go out; I settle in and wait for them to make a move. Most people trip over their own shadow the second things get quiet. I grew up knowing the difference between the noise the world makes and the things that actually hunt in the brush. You don't survive by running scared; you survive by knowing the terrain better than whatever's tracking you.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

That unlucky thirteen grand? I’d take it straight off the grid. Pay down the friction, clear out the noise, and sink what's left into the acreage and the quiet. Maybe buy a stretch of timber where nobody can drop an automated text message or a voting link ever again. Let the internet keep its high-gloss hustle while I’m sitting out on the porch listening to the creek run high after a heavy rain.

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

My hero is LJ. Nine years through every kind of wreckage life and the back roads can throw, standing shoulder-to-shoulder without flinching. If the slasher steps out of the fog or the world goes sideways in the dark, that’s the one person you want in the trenches with you—someone who doesn't blink, doesn't hesitate, and knows how to handle the weight when things get ugly.
