What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

Devils night 2006, myself and another experienced occultist performed an exterior Samhain early morning ritual in the woods over a huge bonfire. The air was crisp, the black was pitch, and as we called into the abyss that night, our power suffused as one, the forest opened with creaking and cracking, blood red eyes glowing in the distance, they watched us, they came to see our black circle; in the morning, cloven prints around the fire, where they danced until the embers extinguished. Ave!

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I have so many demons in my own closet! If I had the pleasure of being in a real horror movie, I would make it to the end because I would be the horror. If someone or something were unwise enough to come after me, I would do everything I could to subdue them, lock them in a room with me, and proceed to make them feel every ounce of fear and pain that I have ever been forced to feel. I feel pity for that guy or gal or “monster” in a horror movie who has to endure what will come to them from me!

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

Honestly nothing fun unfortunately, but it would assist me greatly in removing a portion of personal debt. The best part is meeting Lin Shaye and Kane Hodder for me more than money. I have been a horror fan since I was birthed; the money is an absolute great perk, but being in Rue Morgue and meeting everyone is just as awesome.

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

In real life it’s my wife who I would say is hero material, but I wouldn’t survive a horror movie with her unfortunately, and she and I both know that :) She would say something like “we would be okay dontcha know”, but in reality, her curly blonde, midwestern ass would be deader than a doornail super fast. In the end, it is just me, myself and I…..and all three of us would be our own hero, and that has to be good enough.
