I design, paint and create intricate Halloween costumes. Every year growing up our house was known as the “haunted house” in October.

Dying to know what Face of Halloween is all about?
What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
My most memorable Halloween was creating a gory haunted house in my parents’ 3-car garage every year as a teen. Drywall dividers, hanging body bags, strobes, fog, custom foam prosthetics and costumes, real pig heads and feet from the butcher, a sparking grinder for effects, and a masked chainsaw chaser (no chain) in the backyard. Crowds lined the street, people called it scarier than nearby haunts. Something about creating that kind of atmosphere for others to enjoy was a great feeling!
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
I wouldn’t just survive the horror movie- I would join the antagonist in a shocking twist. I would set the traps and lures while everyone thinks I’m being hunted I’m actually the one setting everyone up in a creative turn of events. By the final credits I’ll look like the final person standing but am actually the hidden legend.
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
I’d invest the entire $13,000 into handcrafting epic Halloween decor for the new house I’m building. Store-bought isn’t my style, I’d design and create everything myself for a one-of-a-kind display. Custom props, lighting, scenes… the whole works. The dream is to turn my home into something unforgettable and bring back an at-home haunt so the neighborhood can line up and enjoy the scare again, just like the old garage days.
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
My parents. My dad filled our home with classic horror movies and always brought home the best masks and yard props, teaching me the love of the season. My mom is pure creativity—she helped design our legendary garage haunt, came up with the idea for the real pig parts from the butcher, and is the reason I create the costumes I make today. Together they’d keep me calm, resourceful, and two steps ahead of any villain. Surviving a horror movie would just feel like another epic family Halloween.
