What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

Growing up Halloween was the 1 night everyone else seemed to see the world the way I saw it every day dark, mysterious, paranormal, and beautifully strange. I remember wishing I could hold on to that feeling and live in it all year. I guess I did. That little girl grew into a woman who made the beautifully dark a part of who she is still fascinated by haunted places, cemeteries, horror, and the unexplained. Some people visit that world once a year. I made it my home.

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I’d make it to the end because I’ve watched enough horror movies to know the rules. I’m not investigating the noise, reading the Latin out loud, splitting up from the group, or running upstairs when the front door is RIGHT THERE. But mostly I respect the paranormal enough to know when something isn’t my business. Curiosity kills characters. I’m going home.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

I’d turn that unlucky $13,000 into the luckiest year of my life. I’d take my son on an unforgettable trip, visit the haunted places and old cemeteries on my bucket list. I’ve never been afraid of the number 13..hand it over. I’ll give it a very happy haunted home.

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

My son. He’s my real-life hero and the person I’d want beside me in any horror movie. He’s brave, smart, and has already faced things in real life that require more courage than anything on a screen. Plus with his quick thinking and my lifetime of horror knowledge, I like our chances. And nothing is getting through me to get to my kid. Final two energy.
