Corwin Herter

I've been a horror fanatic since the very beginning. The slicing and dicing all the way to the paranormal. You name it, I love it.

What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

The best experience for me with Halloween was that we had a really big front window in my house, and I dressed up as Michael Myers. I stood in front of the window, and I had the kids come up to the house. The moment that they would get to the doorbell, we would turn the lights on, and they would see me standing there, 6'4", 240 lbs., with a knife in my hand. Everyone would freak out and run away. Needless to say, I didn't actually get to give away as much candy as I planned. Lol

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

Crazy that you ask this question. I've envisioned myself being in horror movies since a teen ager, but realistically, as much as I would like to think I would live, I always feel that I would die in some heroic way closer to the end of the movie. After I give up a good fight, you actually think that I'm the guy who's actually going to take out the killer, but then you know how it goes. Something bad always ends up happening where the killer gets the one-up on me, and then I'd end up dying.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

I would pay off whatever debt I have at that time to become officially debt-free, as I don't normally carry much more than that amount in debt anyway. Then I'd go on a nice vacation with my fiancé and have a super badass story to tell everybody who I meet on that vacation about why I'm there and how I got there. 😃

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

I would want to survive a horror movie with Kane Hodder. Only he's playing himself, or he's playing a different character, and he and I have to survive together from a serial killer that could be even worse than Jason Voorhees.
