I have loved horror my entire life. I have attended many events, and I have crafted many cosplays or pieced together outfits with ingenuity.

What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

Definitely being the 1978 Michael Myers and walking around one of my neighborhoods with tons of people screaming running down the streets from just simply walking. I also noticed that people in broad daylight didn’t even notice me with the full costume on and the music blasting down the window. Peoples situational awareness was so low. It was kind of funny but also scary because it makes me realize that Michael Myers is completely plausible even in the modern day.

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

Depends on what I’m facing, but at the end of the day it’s really just not being stupid and not walking into the wrong room at the wrong time. Stay close to other people and have a ton of weapons while trying to call the police if they can even do anything against the threat. Mainly it’s just not going into the obviously restricted or spooky area where you know you’re absolutely going to get killed. If things go south, there’s always just running. Just leave the state. Or the country.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

To be honest, I have no idea. I could try using it for costumes. I could try using it for recording equipment to try to jumpstart my filmmaking. I could use it for a simple vehicle to be able to haul all of my gear. I have no idea. Might be all of these things. If I got the money, whatever I spend it on I’m sure I would try doing it responsibly while still being irresponsible because I am a goofball after all.

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

That’s a very tricky question. I could easily choose a celebrity like Matthew Lillard if we’re talking about like a celebrity hero because his natural nice presence could probably de-escalate a masked maniac. But if I was to choose a different kind of hero, it would definitely be my mother. She has an absurd amount of horror movie knowledge and is able to recognize situations where getting out would be an absolute priority. She also has a gun so that’s a plus unlike other horror characters.
