What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
When a kid was with all these kids and tripped and spilled all his treats. Everyone took them. So I hissed and yelled you will all learn today what wickedness brings! And I dumped so of my candy into his bucket. He was the man that point forward. So perfect.
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
I always know what will happen. It feels like a curse. I want to be scared! I don’t want to know what’s going to happen! I just always know and I’d be ready. I love horror movies, it’s basically all I watch. That and dance moms but, honestly, same thing?
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
I would do the boring thing and save it for my kids. I have two. One disabled son who is brilliant and one girl who is also brilliant. I am a single mom. I left their father and moved to a different state because he was not a nice person. I would keep it for my kids and invest it for them. They are why I do anything. They are why I breathe. I live to be the concrete slab at the core of their lives. And I’m honored every single day to do it. Jake and Natalie <3
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
My dad. He was my best friend. He was insane! Went into the Navy lying about his age. Smartest person you’d ever meet. He was a commander of many fleets. Ended up teaching at Westpoint. He loved horror movies. Didn’t like movies with combat, we couldn’t watch those. My dad is the single person I know, for a fact, if I was put into a horror movie, he’d make sure we lived. No question. Me and him together? Untouchable.
