Halloween has been my happy place through life’s struggles, bringing joy, comfort and magic. I want to keep that magic alive!
Help your favorite Halloween fanatic appear in Rue Morgue Magazine, take home $13,000, and join Kane Hodder for a ghost hunt.
Dying to know what Face of Halloween is all about?
What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
When I was little we would normally trick or treat around my grandparents neighborhood, if it wasn’t too late when we got home I could sometimes talk my parents into trick or treating around our neighborhood. There was this house, dark, no decorations, just a single light in the car port, a man sitting in a folding chair dressed as Michael Myers. My dad taunted us to go up there and ask for candy, so I finally decided to, when I got close enough, he stood up and I ran like hell!
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
I’m a huge Scream fan, Sidney Prescott has taught me everything I need to know to be a final girl.
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
Put it towards our dogs’ medical expenses. Talulah and Ollie have both been diagnosed with a form of heart disease and appointments and medication are very costly. They’re my babies and I’d do anything for them.
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
Matthew Lillard. Not only is he one of the nicest people on the planet, but I admire his willingness to speak openly about social anxiety, self-doubt, fear, and mental health. These are things I’ve struggled with, too, and seeing someone use their platform to bring awareness to them means a lot. I think Matt and I could kick some ass!
