I am the next Face of Halloween because I am dead but delicious ALL year round, a creature of the night.
Help your favorite Halloween fanatic appear in Rue Morgue Magazine, take home $13,000, and join Kane Hodder for a ghost hunt.
Dying to know what Face of Halloween is all about?
What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
My most memorable Halloween experience was probably Halloween of 2015 when my stepmother introduced me to Rocky Horror Picture Show for the first time. It challenged everything I had grown up to know and what I thought I knew about myself. Watching it felt liberating, rebellious, and allowed me to question things in a way I never had before. It genuinely felt like I finally had permission to be myself and not feel so alone.
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
I have watched many horror movies in my lifetime and like many horror lovers have caught myself screaming at the screen when someone in a movie does something very silly and gets themselves killed. I'd like to try not to do that and do what I got to do despite the fear.
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
It would give me the opportunity to pay off debt and focus on my creative goals!
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
My real-life hero is Tobias Forge lead singer of the Swedish band Ghost. I grew up listening to his music, and it genuinely saved my life. I had always listened to music to cope growing up when I was in distress, anxious, and/ or depressed, his lyrics were the ones that would reach me in those moments, and I am forever grateful to have found his music and to be alive. It would be an honor to survive a horror movie with him.
