Halloween is no holiday—it is my sacred rite, my haunted sanctuary, and the ancient hour when the darkness rises to claim me once more.

Dying to know what Face of Halloween is all about?
What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
One Halloween, I spent the evening taking my daughter trick-or-treating, watching her get excited over every house decorated with spooky lights and creepy skeletons. We came home with bags of candy, put on a scary movie, made snacks, and curled up together under blankets. It wasn’t anything extravagant, but seeing her happy and making memories together made it a Halloween I’ll never forget.
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
I’d make it to the end of a horror movie because I’m observant, stubborn, and just the right amount of unhinged. I’m not investigating strange noises alone, I’m not trusting the creepy neighbor, and I’m definitely not tripping while running from the killer. I’ve survived enough real-life plot twists to know when something feels off. Plus, I’m too nosy to die before finding out what the hell is going on.
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
If I got $13,000, I’d get my finances in order first—catch up on bills, build an emergency fund, and put some money toward finding a safe, comfortable home for me and my daughter. I’d pay for anything important I’ve been putting off, treat myself to a little shopping, invest in my health and confidence, and save whatever I could. I wouldn’t blow it all on temporary happiness. I’d use it to create a fresh start, more stability, and a little peace of mind.
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
My real-life hero is my daughter. She gives me a reason to keep pushing through even on the hardest days. If I had to survive a horror movie, I’d want her dad by my side. We know each other’s strengths, weaknesses, and crazy sides, and we’d either outsmart the killer together or argue our way into becoming the next victims.
