Horror has shaped me since childhood -- horror movie fan, haunted-house lover, monster voice-actress, sing in a haunting band, MOMster👻
Help your favorite Halloween fanatic appear in Rue Morgue Magazine, take home $13,000, and join Kane Hodder for a ghost hunt.
Dying to know what Face of Halloween is all about?
What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
As an 80s kid: My mom always wanted me to dress up as a butterfly or princess, but I was drawn to the darker side of Halloween. I chose creepy costumes instead—like the Grim Reaper, a skeleton, or a zombie. Also loved 80s horror movies & trick r treating - mom & dad would check for razor blades in the candy. Now, 40 years later, i voice the corpse in a sci fi horror audiodrama called Frequency. I also sing for a haunting Doomicana band called Digital Bog - doom metal meets Dark America
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
I trust my instincts, never split up, won’t investigate strange noises alone, keep my phone charged, and won't move into a creepy house with a suspicious history
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
What would I do with $13,000? 1. Put it toward my kids’ college funds. Because the real horror these days is the cost of college. I would love to make sure my kids’ futures are a little less terrifying. 2. Upgrade my voice acting equipment & booth so I can have higher_quality villian & monster character voices 🧙♀️
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
My kids, 6&12, are my heroes - my own little horror filmmakers Last night, they made their FIRST “DON’T GO INTO THE BASEMENT” movie on an iPad.. everyone survived which is a good sign!
