I am the face of Halloween because I live and breathe the season. I survived real life horror stories and turned them into my power.
We would like to thank you for supporting Candie Stahl in this year's competition. Your participation helps aid the Starlight Children's Foundation in its mission to deliver happiness to seriously ill kids and their families through virtual reality experiences, fun hospital wear, games, and positivity!
Whatβs your most memorable Halloween experience?
I wish I had one amazing Halloween story to tell, but honestly, I don’t remember one particular Halloween standing out. Maybe that’s exactly why this opportunity means so much to me. I’ve always loved Halloween, the costumes, the creativity, the spooky fun, and the chance to let your imagination run wild. I think my most memorable Halloween experience might still be waiting for me, and being chosen as the Face of Halloween would definitely give me a Halloween story worth remembering forever!” π»
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
I’d make it to the end because I was basically raised on horror movies, especially Halloween, so I’ve had a lifetime of training! I know the rules: never say ‘I’ll be right back,’ never investigate that creepy noise alone, never split up, and for the love of everything spooky, NEVER go into the basement! π I’ve spent my whole life watching people make terrible decisions on screen, so I’d like to think I’ve learned from their mistakes. I’d be terrified, but I’m not stupid! I’d trust my instincts
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
I’d use the $13,000 to give myself a little breathing room, invest in my future, and finally do some things I’ve always put off because there was always something more important. I’d put some toward building something for myself, help take care of the things I need, and absolutely save a little for some Halloween fun! After all, winning the Face of Halloween should come with a little spooky celebration! ππ»”
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
Jamie Lee Curtis. I mean, if I’m going to survive a horror movie, I want the woman who has spent a lifetime surviving them beside me! π She’s smart, tough, knows when something is seriously wrong, and most importantly, she knows better than to investigate that creepy noise alone. I’d trust her to get us both to the end credits! ππͺ
