Halloween is the one day a year when weird isn’t weird. It’s the assignment. I’ve been training my whole life. 🎃🖤
Help your favorite Halloween fanatic appear in Rue Morgue Magazine, take home $13,000, and join Kane Hodder for a ghost hunt.
Dying to know what Face of Halloween is all about?
What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
My most memorable Halloween was my first college Halloween at WVU, when I discovered Morgantown’s gay club scene and met the Sanderson Sisters. They took over the stage at midnight, and the energy was unforgettable. That night introduced me to incredible people, drag queens, and a Halloween tradition I’ve continued every year since.
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
I’d make it to the end because fear fuels me. I stay sharp, think fast, and fight harder. I’d set traps, outsmart the villain, and never let myself become the victim. My willpower, grit, and refusal to give up would carry me through. I might be bloodied, but I’d still be standing when the credits roll.
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
First, I’d take care of real life—catching up on bills, paying down some debt, and giving myself a little financial breathing room. Then I’d put some toward turning my home into the ultimate Halloween experience: creepy décor, animatronics, lighting, and enough spooky magic to make Halloween last all year. Because even with $13,000, life comes first… but Halloween is definitely getting its share!
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
My real-life hero is Jamie Lee Curtis—the original scream queen. She represents strength, grit, brains, and resilience. If anyone knows how to survive a horror movie, it’s her. Together, we’d prove that resilience beats fear and make it all the way to the end credits
