Brittany Rivera

Horror runs through my veins. I live for haunted nights, full moons, monsters, mischief and the magic that makes Halloween feel like home.

What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

My most memorable halloween experience would probably have to be going to Reapers Revenge in Pennsylvania. The walk through setups were amazing, sector 13 was probably my favorite since I got to interact with the actors and be put on an operating table as part of the show. I live and breathe the thrill of getting a spooky chill.

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

If I were to be in a horror movie, I’d survive by doing the one thing horror characters apparently never think to do which is: trust my gut. 😂 I’m not investigating creepy noises, splitting up from the group, or saying “I’ll be right back.” If something feels off, I’m out. I’d stay calm, keep my people close, and use my biggest weapon—common sense. I love horror, but I have absolutely no desire to become part of the plot. I’m here to survive the movie, not star in the sequel. 🖤

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

Now, as far as what I'd do with the unlucky $13,000. I have two daughters, ones 5 and the other is 2. I would put some back to save and take the rest and take them on a nice vacation that they both deserve. Its been quite rough these past 2 years, as I imagine it has been for everyone BUT a nice break would reset not only me and my girls but my family as well. I can't tell you how much it'd mean to me to be the face of halloween and have this once in a lifetime experience.

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

Who I’d want by my side to survive in a horror movie would probably be my horror-gaming partner. We’ve spent plenty of time playing Phasmophobia together, so he’s already used to investigating haunted places with me—just hopefully not the part where we actually have to survive one! He’s someone I know I could count on to keep a level head, have my back, and probably make me laugh when things get terrifying. If I’m going down, I’d at least want my favorite teammate beside me.
