Brian Kent

Halloween is an all year thing for me. It's almost an outward expression of the darker parts of the mind and a time you can be anything.

What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

I will always remember taking my younger sisters through their first haunted house. The youngest one was 8 at the time and terrified of Leatherface. Upon making it out and safely back in the car, the actor that chased her all the way across the grounds jumped out of the ditch, chainsaw roaring and I'm pretty sure she pissed her pants. Then to top off the night my step-dad brought the chainsaw in the house and cranked it in the hallway right outside her door. Best damn Halloween ever!

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I'd make it to the end of a horror movie for two reasons. One would be taking the common sense approach to situations. Two would be me knowing how a twisted mind works and anticipating the protagonists' next move. May the hunter become the hunted.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

The first thing I'd do is buy concert and festival tickets. I'm an addicted metal head and I can't deny that. Secondly, I'd do what I always do and buy macabre shit for my house but much better quality. I also love the Halloween animatronics and scaring the local kids so I'd definitely be buying some yard swag.

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

RIP to the Legend Sid Haig but other than him, my dad. Not only would it be a comic relief, my dad isn't scared of anything. He's a special forces vet and probably could come up with some really cool shit to ensure survival. He's also the smartest person I've ever met. Our chances would be phenomenal!
