What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

At fourteen, I wore my first fierce cat makeup, a ruffled denim dress, and fishnets. Running through the crisp air, I felt entirely untouchable. I didn't know it then, but the universe was capturing the final, sweet goodbye to my childhood. I can still feel the heartbeat of those early 2000s streets—the lingering past curfew, the innocent mischief, and that beautiful, untamed freedom of youth when anything felt possible.

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I question what others dismiss, notice what others overlook, and trust the feeling that whispers something isn’t right. I protect fiercely, even when I’m afraid. When chaos comes, I find a way forward. I’m stubborn enough to survive, resourceful enough to adapt, and when the darkness comes for the people I love, I don’t freeze—I fight.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

I’d use the $13,000 to finally pay off my student loan debt—lifting a weight that’s kept us focused on simply surviving. With that chapter closed, my daughter and I could turn our eyes toward something bigger: buying our own land, building a life rooted in stability, and finally having the freedom to dream beyond making it through each day.

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

Winona Ryder, because she’s Mother—the GOAT of horror, the patron saint of all things strange and beautifully odd. And Matthew Lillard! I’d gladly have him by my side… right up until he slit my throat. At least I’d die with a smile on my face saying, “Thank you, Zaddy.” 😂🖤
