What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

My town was built on an ancient burial ground. One Halloween, the radio dial swept through every station on its own, windows kept slamming shut, and the metal beam in my basement clanged like chains being struck. That night we took a ouija board to the cemetery. The planchette moved before anyone pushed. Then a girl's hair rose straight up, as if something unseen had taken hold of it. Nobody screamed. I've lost many memories, but never that night."

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I'd make it to the end because I've already met the monsters. As a medium and paranormal investigator, I know when to run and when to listen. As an actress, I know the script. I hear the warnings, never split up, and never open the basement door. The ghost always stays dead.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

"I would use the unlucky 13 grand to start a paranormal research group. I've been a medium all my life and worked with the Twin Cities Paranormal Society, but I've always wanted to run my own experiments. The money would buy quality recorders, cameras, and electromagnetic detectors, plus travel to places with real histories. Some answers are worth the dark."

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

"My real life hero is Andre the Giant. I was six when I learned my baby brother had been taken off life support and passed. I ran out the door, hopped on my bike, and found a film crew and his little girl, who was my age. Andre was there visiting her. When I told them I'd just lost my baby brother, my cheeks stained with tears, they were all so sweet to me. He was a gentle giant who would also save the day."
