They say that Halloween is the time of the year when the veil between earth and the dead is the thinnest. I think the veil is always thin.

What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
Swishing up the walk under my eyeholes, autumn air bit my cheeks with sweet anticipation. When the straw-stuffed dummy on the porch suddenly roared to life, my scream ripped straight into pure, breathless laughter. Heart hammering against my ribs, cold wind swirling my sheet, fear turned instantly to electricity. Running back down the steps, clutch of candy in hand, I had never felt so dazzlingly, wildly alive. You never forget your first true scare.
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
I wouldn't freeze or drop my keys; I will take that rush of terror and transmute it into pure adrenaline and fight-or-flight focus. Anyone who laughs off an unexpected jump scare and hits the ground running can outsmart whatever lurks in the dark. While the rest of the cast investigates the strange noises in the basement, my razor-sharp instincts and quick feet would carry me straight out the front door, leaving whatever is hunting in the dust!!!
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
Part would be invested into my continuing education (I am a student who works full time & it would help me to be able to put more focus into school) and the rest would go towards expanding my nature preservation efforts. (Supplies for our group, fundraising, etc!)
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
The nurses and doctors that work at my hospital. Imagine their intellect and decision making ability combined with their life saving abilities! Sounds like a good deal to me!
