Arachna Lee

From little ghoul, I have been completely immersed in the world of horror. It has always been a safe place for freaks like me to be myself.

What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

I always loved watching Elvira’s movie macabre; my most vivid Halloween memory is being gathered around the box tv, circa probably 2002, and sorting through Halloween candy and trading like gamblers. This show is what my dad put on every year. Elvira became the vision board for what a cool ghoul could be!

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I’d skip the flight part, and would just fight! Haha. It’d end up being quite action filled because I am quite the creature. That creep would end up running from me!

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

Honestly, that kind of money would really jump start my small business -physical media project. It’s called Ground Level! @projectgroundlevel on insta and website the same. I focus on restoring film cameras, printing on vintage, hosting all age shows and selling records / other forms of analog. I’m 25, and have always had a love for the small things; And never have asked for a lot. It’d be nice to not have to have Ground Level be a local spot in Indianapolis IN.

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

OH EASY ! the one, the only, The Mistress of the Dark. Elvira. Thank you!! -Arachna 🕷️
