What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

My most treasured Halloween memories are of being a little girl curled up beside my grandpa, watching old horror movies together. I never knew then how much I’d someday miss those simple nights. He has since passed away, but every Halloween, those movies bring me back to him. For a little while, I can almost feel like that little girl beside her grandpa again. He gave me my love of Halloween, and now it keeps a piece of him alive in my heart.

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I’d make it to the end because I don’t scare easy, I fight back. I grew up on horror movies, so I already know every mistake NOT to make. I’m not hiding and hoping for the best; I’m surviving out of pure stubbornness and adrenaline. I’ll be bruised, bloody, and exhausted, but when those end credits roll, I’ll be the one still standing. The killer should be worried about surviving me.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

I’d turn that unlucky $13,000 into something pretty lucky. I’d use it to give my family a little more security, make some unforgettable memories with the people I love, and save a portion for our future. Of course, I’d have to spend a little on my horror obsession too because winning the Face of Halloween and not buying something spooky would just be bad luck.

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

My grandpa. He’s no longer here, but he’ll always be one of my real-life heroes. He’s the person who introduced me to horror movies when I was little, so if I could choose anyone to survive one with, it would be him. I’d give anything for one more scary movie with him, only this time, we’d be living it. And knowing us, we’d make it to the end together.
