Halloween is always my favorite time of year because of its uniqueness, creativity, and endless spooky energy. I feel finally free to be me.
We would like to thank you for supporting Anna Lockridge in this year's competition. Your participation helps aid the Starlight Children's Foundation in its mission to deliver happiness to seriously ill kids and their families through virtual reality experiences, fun hospital wear, games, and positivity!
What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
When I was a kid, I dressed up as a mad scientist. I thought it was obvious: I wore my mom’s white dietitian coat splattered with food coloring, wild teased hair, and big goggles. Yet, nobody could figure out what I was! Every time I told someone, they were genuinely shocked. It was hilarious because in my head, I looked straight out of a lab.
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
My survival strategy is therapy and comedy. Before they can swing an axe, I’d disarm them with a joke or start psychoanalyzing their tragic backstory. You never know what someone's going through, and honestly, I’m certain that most slasher villains just need to feel understood.
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
I’d turn that "unlucky" cash into good by helping my husband and me through college, and using whatever is left over to send my parents on a couple of much-needed vacations!
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
My husband! He’d be super strategic, mapping out a game plan to solve the crisis, while I’d attempt to save us by being charming. Between his tactics and my diplomacy, we’d make it out for sure!
