What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

One of my most memorable Halloweens was when I dressed up as a Power Ranger. I was SO excited about my costume, and somehow everyone kept asking me why I was dressed like a spaceman. 😂 I was absolutely furious because I knew damn well I was a Power Ranger. I still remember being so offended by it. Looking back, it’s hilarious—but at the time, nobody was allowed to disrespect my Power Ranger identity. I even had the swishing gloves, dude. 😂🎃

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

Watching horror film and television and consuming horror media is my comfort zone. I know all the tropes from classic to B movie to artsy A24. I was born into this world at a time when trad Goth and Tim Burton were on top of the world.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

I would use the money to start rebuilding my life. This year has completely changed everything for me—I unexpectedly found myself divorced and homeless, and I’m having to figure out what comes next from the ground up. Having that money would give me the chance to get stable housing, replace some of the things I’ve lost, and finally start building a new life for myself. It wouldn’t be about anything extravagant. It would be about having a safe place to live and getting back on my feet.

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

He isn’t my hero so to speak but I would definitely want like Stone Cold Steve Austin with me. Growing up in the South I have learned you want rednecks around for a zombie apocalypse or some other horrible creature or event.
