What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

I was raised Seventh-day Adventist, so I never celebrated Halloween growing up. My most memorable Halloween was in 4th grade, when I secretly joined my school’s costume parade. I wore camouflage pants and a matching shirt, convincing myself it counted as a costume—even though it was really just an outfit! I felt like the biggest rebel ever. Looking back, it’s hilarious, but I’ll never forget that feeling.

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I’d make it to the end of a horror movie because I’m stubborn, observant, and just nosy enough to figure out what’s happening. I trust my instincts, stick with the group, and absolutely refuse to split up. I know the rules: don’t investigate creepy noises, touch cursed objects, or say “I’ll be right back.” I’ll be scared, I’ll scream, but I’ll survive—and I’m definitely not going back into the house for the sequel!

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

If I won $13,000, I’d put some of it toward upgrading our podcast studio so it finally matches the spooky, fun vibe of Spine-Chilling Chats. Right now, it’s still pink from when it was my daughter’s playroom! Then I’d use the rest to take my family and bestie on a much-needed vacation and make some unforgettable memories together. It would be the perfect mix of investing in something I love and creating memories with the people I love most.

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

If I had to survive a horror movie, I’d want my two real-life heroes by my side: my hubby and my bestie, Manda, my co-host on Spine-Chilling Chats! My husband would be the brains of the operation, keeping us calm and figuring out how to get us out alive. Manda and I would be the muscle—because someone has to swing the bat! LOL. Together, we’d make one heck of a survival team!
