What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

One Halloween, a sudden storm knocked out the power just as I was telling ghost stories. We lit the jack-o’-lanterns, grabbed blankets, and turned the dark house into a haunted maze. The thunder did the sound effects, and every creak made us jump. When the lights came back, nobody wanted to leave the spooky setup—it became our favorite Halloween memory.

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I’d make it to the end by staying calm, sticking with the group, and never investigating a strange noise alone. I’d keep my phone charged, find the safest exit, and trust the person who says, “Let’s leave now.” Most importantly, I’d avoid splitting up, tempting fate, or going back for a creepy heirloom. In a horror movie, good judgment is the real superpower.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

I’d use the $13,000 to give my family a little breathing room—pay off a bill that keeps someone awake at night, fix what’s been put off, and save enough for a day together with no worries. Then I’d quietly help someone who’s struggling, because a bit of kindness can change more than a bank balance. If the money’s unlucky, I’d make sure it brings someone hope.

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

My real-life hero is my mom. She’s the person who makes even the darkest days feel survivable, so I’d want her beside me in a horror movie. I’d keep her close, hold her hand through every creak and shadow, and follow her steady courage toward the exit. If we made it out, I’d remind her that she’s been saving me long before any monster showed up.
