I see Halloween and horror as a way that I’m connected to my family and friends; movies, tv shows, books, etc. we’ve seen it all.
Help your favorite Halloween fanatic appear in Rue Morgue Magazine, take home $13,000, and join Kane Hodder for a ghost hunt.
Dying to know what Face of Halloween is all about?
What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
The first year of going to Halloween horror nights with my dad. We went in 2021, I had not been to a lot of haunted houses in my life. I was absolutely scared to death in most of the houses, but we had the best time ever! One house that is most memorable was the Exorcist. We had just walked into the park and it was right by the gate. My dad pointed and said “let’s start with this one” and I thought oh my lord this man is trying to kill me. It ended up being so scary, but a great way to start!
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
I would make it to the end of a horror movie because I’m just curious enough to not get killed. I want answers and will go looking in any given situation. But, I’m also the final girl who will run laughing at the end because I escaped. I have years of scary movie watching and a degree in Forensic Science on my side.
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
I am currently looking to go back to school, I do have a BS in Forensics, but my passions have turned to mortician studies. If I were to win I want to put that money towards my schooling.
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
My real-life hero is my friend Mattie. She’s tough as nails and would absolutely get us to the end of a horror movie. She’s loud, proud, and smart; she would find the psychological reasons behind the killers motivations and bully us into surviving.
