Alan Willard

Halloween is my favorite time of the year. I'm 69 and still love scaring people.

What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

When I was 13 I went trick or treating with 2 friends from school and took a short cut through the city of Dallas, Oregon city park. We saw a car parked in the parking area and decided to trick the person that we could see sitting the car. We sneaked up to the car and began making creepy noises to no avail. After about 3 or 4 minutes of no reaction from the person we thought he was asleep. we opened the driver's side door which opened easily. The man had committed suicide!Ran got the police!

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

Since I'm 69 going on 70 this November 18th, I've come to grips with the fact that I will be gone soon enough. Because of that fact, I'm just not scared of death. Or scary movies.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

Use it to get health insurance for my wife who has none. She is diabetic and has no cartilage in both knees and needs surgery. That's where the money will go.

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

My Dad. Love you Dad!
