Dying to know what Face of Halloween is all about?
What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
Most of my memorable Halloween experiences surround my mother, as she is an acting medium, and can communicate with spirits of many different kinds, including spirits in our home. So for us, it’s like Halloween is kindof all year. A few years ago, on Halloween, I caught an orb on camera floating by my face while filming my scary makeup at the time. We’ve also had poltergeist activity with objects being thrown down stairs by a particular child spirit that lived with us for a time, named Amelia.
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
As a true horror fan, I believe I could be a final girl by avoiding the signature mistakes like saying “I’ll be right back”, having sex, or following the strange sound into the woods. No hiding in the barn full of sharp objects either! Arm myself immediately (not with the giant kitchen knife), always have a buddy & ALWAYS double tap the villain to make sure they’re really dead. Be brutal cause it’s you or them!
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
The most honest answer I could give would be, to help my household to stop using the local food banks & get them real groceries, cover vet bills for my dog & cats, cover prescription bills, and finally treat my family by going to see some new horror movies in theatres! I’ve been struggling to be approved for Canadian disability for my adhd, anxiety, depression, etc, but this money would make a world of difference & give my family hope to keep moving through this difficult time in our lives.
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
My real life hero is my mom, I would definitely die to protect her in any movie or real life situation. She is the strongest, most resilient woman I’ve ever met, and truly the biggest horror fan I know. She is an avid collector of Halloween decor & animatronics. She is the most innocent, kind woman you could ever meet, even being a Sunday school teacher for decades! But this doesn’t stop her from fully embracing her scary side every October (& August & September) by decorating the entire house!
