Dying to know what Face of Halloween is all about?
What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
Well I was born on October 30th so every Halloween was awesome, my aunt would go all out decorating her house and turn it into a whole haunted house for my birthday parties, not many kids would come because I was sickly and not really popular but she made Halloween so special and she’d always tell me “this holiday fits you so well my little witch, I knew the day you were born, your hair was cole black and so were your eyes, we all thought your head would spin and you’d vomit out pea soup”
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
I’d make it because of how I was raised. My dad was a scary guy and a firearms instructor that trained police officers all over NM, so I woke up to gun fire and fell asleep to it, my aim is great and I’m sneaky. I grew up in a town that had many places that were haunted too, areas that had witches that sacrificed live animals and underground tunnels were satanic worshippers would go and do rituals too, so I learned quickly that if you see a certain symbol or marking, you need to leave.
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
I would put it towards my little families fund for our special trips, we live up in Ruidoso New Mexico and we don’t have really anything fun for folks like us to do (spooky family stuff) so I like to take my step son and fiancé to things my dad took me to, like Halloween nights at six flags, horror con, etc.. I just want to make fun memories with my boys.
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
My real life hero is my father, my best friend and the one who really got me into horror films. If a scene came up in a horror movie that scared me , he’d smile real big and say “it’s all part of the script baby, aren’t they great?” Tough as nails even at 72. If someone ever tries to run up on him and jump scare him even now, he never flinches, never budges, he clenches his hands into fists and prepares himself. You can depend on a man like that if your were in a horror movie with him, a badass.
