Tony Modica

Halloween has always been my favorite movie since I was a kid. I started watching horror movies at 5 and the first was that. Horror is good.

What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

My most memorable Halloween experience was going out one year dressed up as Michael Myers. I was 6 and dressed up as 6year old Michael in the clown costume and scared so many kids my age. I thought that it was the beginning of something horribly fun for me. Which it was and I went for the next 4 years as Michael Myers.

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I would be able to make it to the end of a horror movie because of the patterns that are laid through plots. The common sense of being chased by any horror icon, instincts would kick in and avoid any set traps, avoid going into the building they’re lurking on you through, or even chasing you and taking a wrong turn. My favorite thing about watching horror is analyzing the mistakes victims make. Studying that and applying it to an opportunity for something like this would be really fun and scary.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

With the money I’d win, I would help my family out with important bills and other costs. If there’s anything left for me to have for myself I would pay off some of my own bills and help with my truck payment. My family has helped me immensely my whole life and I want to give back to them in appreciation for what they’ve done for me.

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

My real life hero is a very hard choice to make. But I think it would have to be either my parents or my grandparents. The reason backing this is because of all the sacrifices that they’ve made for me to be in the position I’m in now. My late grandfather was my only father figure when my dad was out at work during the week and taught me many valuable lessons and skills. Of the 4 of them I think they all make one hero for me and I love them all so much.
