What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

One Halloween, I set up my front porch to look like a cheap haunted house—fog machine, strobe light, a few rubber masks. But the real trick was me hiding in plain sight, sitting completely still in an old recliner with a pumpkin mask on, looking like a prop. Every kid that walked by thought I was fake… until I slowly turned my head. The screams were priceless, but the best part was when one kid came back later with his friends just to dare them to walk past me.

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I’d make it to the end of a horror movie because I can turn anything into a weapon or a way out. A lighter becomes a torch, a mirror becomes a signal, duct tape becomes armor. Where others see junk, I see options. Horror feeds on panic, but I’d stay busy—patching doors, marking trails, tricking the monster into thinking it already got me.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

If I won the $13,000 prize, I’d put it into my YouTube channel, Freaky Attractions—upgrading gear, creating creepier sets, and producing even more immersive horror content so viewers feel like they’ve stepped into the story with me.

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

I’d bring John Carpenter. If anyone knows how to navigate a horror movie and make it out alive, it’s the guy who wrote the rules in the first place.
