What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
In 2011 I returned to Key West, the island that I had called home, for Fantasy Fest. Spirits danced in the shadows to celebrate Halloween alongside the living. The cemetery gates rattled in the gentle salty breeze. Whispers slithered through twisted branches of ancient trees.
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
I listen more than I talk. I read body language. I can tell when someone is lieing. I am always looking for an exit strategy in every scenario. I pick up small sounds, vibrations and smells quickly. I have the legs of a gazelle and the swim ability of a siren.
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
The money would shift my path completely. I would very much like to change my trajectory from being in poverty to living a less strained life. I want my make my two children proud more than anything.
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
Jeff Goldblum would be my choice. I adore him as a person and for all the talents he possesses. I grew up watching him be an unconventional hero using his brilliance to save the day. Even in his 70's the man is still a legend.
