What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

One Halloween, I explored a creepy abandoned house with friends. They dared me to go to the attic alone with a candle. I did… until the candle blew out and a door slammed behind me. I screamed like a dying goat and ran straight into a cobweb—fell down the stairs, cried a little, and accidentally peed a tiny bit. Ghost or not, my dignity never made it out. Still the best Halloween ever.

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I’d make it to the end of a horror movie because I mind my business, don’t split up, and never say “I’ll be right back.” I run before the creepy noise, don’t investigate basements, and I’ve watched enough horror to know the rules. While others are busy being curious, I’m already in the car with the engine running, GPS set to “anywhere but here.”

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

Use towards student loans, donate to charities, and of course donate some Halloween costumes to local schools in the Oklahoma City Metro area.

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

If I had to survive a horror movie with anyone, it’d be Jamie Lee Curtis—she’s the OG final girl. She’s faced down more masked maniacs than I’ve had bad hair days. Calm under pressure, clever with a weapon, and probably packing trauma-based wisdom and snacks. With her by my side, we’re not just surviving—we’re writing the sequel and charging admission.
