I embody Halloween w/ every part of my being. I’ve seen it all, & slashers take top prize. Halloween’s in my soul, & that belongs to Freddy.
You decide who wins the sinister $13,000, and meets Jamie Lee Curtis, Matthew Lillard, and Kane Hodder!
Dying to know what Face of Halloween is all about?
What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
I was stationed at my parents’ house waiting for Trick-or-Treaters. No-one was coming, but then I heard high pitched noises and I waited patiently for them to arrive, but they never did. This happened a few times and I couldn’t figure out why— but out of the corner of my eye I saw movement, and followed it around the corner. No children, but I swear they were the spirits of children, because I caught a glimpse of a transparent foot/leg running around to the back. I was frozen & couldn’t follow.
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
I’m the person in any group at a haunted house or forest who is always at the front and everyone else hides behind. Every. Single. Time. Plus, I know the horror movie rules. Not falling for that! Duh.
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
I plan to donate back to Starlight Children’s Foundation, but also to other organizations that support children, autism, and projects that practice authentic representation for disabled creatives. Kids are our only chance to heal the world, and we need to see disabled people represented in everything we do, not be silenced and hidden. The rights, and life saving supports of disabled people are being taken away in this country, and now is the time for us all to get involved and to speak out.
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
My real life heroes are my parents. I’m autistic, and they’ve moved actual mountains for me in life to ensure my happiness and success. Heroes put their lives on the line to help others and that’s what they’ve done for me. I KNOW I’d survive any horror movie with them because my dad’s my rock… and no monster’s gonna take out MY mom. She’s an actual survivor.
