Silvia Pinho

My love of horror movies started at a very young age. All those years watching Halloween didn’t just scare me. They sculpted me.

What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

I watched Halloween (1978) when I was eight years old. And the following Halloween I dressed up as Laurie. All my other classmates were dressed up as clowns or witches. But I knew who I looked up to most.

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I know I would be a survivor because I’m smart and can make split second decisions. I can remain calm and are great under pressure. I’m also fast.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

I would put the money away for my kids futures. They of course are Halloween enthusiasts too.

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

There is only one answer to this question and it’s Jamie Lee Curtis. I would be honoured to finally meet and chat with her for a bit. But I know she would save my butt if Michael came around.
