Dying to know what Face of Halloween is all about?
What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
When I was a kid, I went to Nightfall at Old Tucson, a Halloween event with haunted houses, live shows, rides, etc. To say I was shy is an understatement— but during a show one of the performers brought me on stage with other audience members. This was so memorable to me because it was the first time I felt safe to be myself in a space where it felt just right. I had felt a sense of community before I could even understand what that really all meant— it was a pivotal moment in my childhood.
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
Maybe I’m actually just crazy but has anyone thought to just give the killer a hug and see what happens?
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
I would use this opportunity to invest more into my career— refining my skills with professional SFX courses and acquiring high quality tools. This prize could really propel me in the right direction for my new career since I’m graduating beauty school this October!
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
I would pick my mentor at beauty school. She’s always had my back through thick and thin and has seen it all. One of the toughest people I know! She’s incredibly knowledgeable, and is a true horror movie fanatic. If we were in trouble in a movie, she would absolutely know what to do!
