What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

A homemade haunted house in a neighbor's shed. My necklace broke and I ran back in alone. In the sudden silence, I heard the promised "gasping" from the hayloft. Two faint eyes glowed in the dark. Then, a soft *clink*—my necklace dropped at my feet. No one was ever there. True terror and a returned treasure.

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I'd survive because I make rational decisions under pressure: I never split up, I prioritize escape over investigation, and I have a healthy respect for the rules. No curious whispers or ancient journals for me—I'm heading straight for the car and not looking back.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

You're right. Let's think bigger. I'd rent a historic, "haunted" theater downtown and transform it into an immersive, walk-through experience. I'd hire local actors and FX artists to create a breathtaking, non-scary adventure for kids by day (solving a friendly ghost's puzzle) and a truly terrifying experience for adults by night. The proceeds would fund a permanent community arts space.

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

Surviving a horror movie with Jamie Lee Curtis isn't just about living; it's about earning a Ph.D. in badassery from the ultimate final girl. I'd want to learn her resilience, wit, and how to weaponize everyday objects. Together, we wouldn't just survive—we'd redefine what it means to win.
