I emigrated to Canada at the age of 5. My first Halloween awakened the darkness in me. I went out as a Care bear that year.

What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
Halloween as a child. It sits with me and I can still feel how that felt. Fall, the weather. the lead up to Halloween. The utter excitement of what costume you were going to wear. I grew up hanging out with the boys and weekly I would drag my friends to an old sweet grate and gather everyone around and tell them of the horrors that I’d seen in that grate. Spirits, murder, pure carnage. I’d seen nothing, lol, I just lived horror and the joy of spooky.
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
Visually people assume I would open my mouth, wouldn’t question anything that goes on around me. I would and I do. I’m always going to be surviving until the end. I have no choice. I am THAT woman. I have always found my way out of situations throughout ny life. I’m not only running from the danger, I’m running into that danger and fighting my way through it. I’m not the one that knocks, I may be the one that knocks you out.
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
As I tell my husband on the daily .I just want a simple home, a nice haunted mansion by the sea. Is that too much to ask? I’m paying bills ( who are we kidding right ) but I’m also buying a 20 ft Halloween inflatable that I’ve had my eye on for months. It’s pricey and I wants it. I didn’t just enter for the money, I entered for my love of Halloween and I entered as I too have hung in the shadows for too long.
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
I’d always want my boo with me. My partner David is from the mad streets of Mumbai, India. He’s one of those nice humans you hear about. One of those guys who has common sense and can get me out of many a sticky situation. He seems to have no fear. Ironically I hold a lot of fear. I aspire for that kind of confidence and lack of fear.
