I have a wild horror score vinyl collection and named my artist project after a scene in Gremlins. Live and breathe horror!
You decide who wins the sinister $13,000, and meets Jamie Lee Curtis, Matthew Lillard, and Kane Hodder!
Dying to know what Face of Halloween is all about?
What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
Walking the Hallowe’en parade in NYC as Drew Barrymore in scream with Ghostface on a pole behind me chasing me. NYC is magic anyway, but Hallowe’en in the city is so fabulous. My birthday is October 30th so they blend into one and every year is a blast.
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
I’ve seen enough horror movies to avoid pitfalls but also add in some gratuitous and absurd comedy one liners and faux pas. Im gay so a ridiculous one liner is my speciality. I’m good with choreography so would be totally there for a song montage moment and some baddie fight scene. I also have a British (Welsh) accent so would most likely be mistaken for the killer for most of the film helping me to sail towards the finish line before unleashing defence tactics and protecting myself.
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
I would curate a horror film series in NYC where I could screen a mixture of obscure, non-streaming, camp classic and new independent horror films, and keep some money to help fund independent horror projects. I’m very community driven so my goal would be for it to make many people happy (and scared!)
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
Cher. Can you imagine her as final girl and then as the credit rolls she gives a song performance for a newly commissioned track, in character, as the split screen shows the rest of the credits. Iconic.
