I celebrate Halloween all year—recite horror films by heart, sew costumes nonstop, and hoard more spooky memorabilia than I have space for.
We would like to thank you for supporting Regina Ayala in this year's competition. Your participation helps aid the Starlight Children's Foundation in its mission to deliver happiness to seriously ill kids and their families through virtual reality experiences, fun hospital wear, games, and positivity!
What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
I got to experience Tokyo Disney during Halloween, where every ride, parade, and corner of the park was transformed into a haunted wonderland. The mix of spooky and magical made it unforgettable!
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
I’ve seen enough horror to know the rules and I’ve got a dark sense of humor to laugh through the blood. Plus, I already live with sharp scissors and stitching skills… so whether it’s mending wounds or making cuts of my own, I’ll be the one standing at the end.
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
I’d like to say pay off a debt, but those ghosts never really go away. Instead, I’d spoil the people (and pets) I love most—my parents, my partner, and my kitties...because nothing’s scarier than forgetting to show the ones you love a little joy while you can.
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
Brendan Fraser—because if he can outwit ancient curses, imagine what we could do together in a horror movie. He brings the charm, I bring the scissors… and the monster won’t stand a chance.
