What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

In high school, I volunteered in a Haunted House in Chestermere, AB, called Dr. Giggles Theatre of Pain! I got to help with a variety of behind-the-scenes tasks, including special effects makeup! I also got to be a scare-actor, so freaking a bunch of people out every night was definitely a memorable experience! The team was so kind, creative, and helpful, and I learnt a lot from hanging out and working with them! <3

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

Honestly, I wouldn't. I'm done for. My best defense mechanism... is pity. "Please don't kill me, I am but a little guy. You wouldn't hurt a little guy like me? It's my birthday pleeeease".

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

I would use it towards tuition for a one-year intensive special effects makeup course at Vancouver Film School to become a makeup artist for film & television! It would help me get the connections and skills I need to make my passion a career! (Please, if I have to work a desk job the rest of my life, I think I'd disintegrate spontaneously)

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

Elvira! Her persona is so confident and charismatic, and she is so sure of herself! Even though many people judge her for her flamboyant behaviour and style, she doesn't let that get to her! Even when people try to belittle her for being a woman or spit slurs and insults at her, or belittle her for her dreams, she knows that their words mean nothing and she achieves her dreams anyway! (Also, she's seen a lot of horror movies... she knows all the tropes. I think I'd be safe with her!)
